Chapter 5 - Modern-day Numerology: Numbers to Remember

Numerology profiles contain many numbers but the seven most significant when you talk about your life and its different aspects include the birthday number, current name number, personality number, maturity number, soul number, destiny number, and life path number.

Figuring out these 7 core numbers and incorporating them together would provide an accurate prediction of a person in general.

Now, let us go into each aforementioned numbers and find out how to compute each of them.

Birthday number

The birthday number is an important part of your numerology profile to identify because it tells you about abilities and talents that will facilitate you in terms of achieving your dreams. It is also the easiest number to determine. To calculate your birthday number, you just have to think first of the day of the month of your birth date and come up with the birthday number by reducing it to a single-digit one. So, for example, if you were born on March 9th , as that date is a single digit, 9 is obviously your birthday number. However, if you were born on a double-digit day, what you have to do is add the numbers together until you get a single-digit number. But, you have to remember the prior double-digit compound number before you reduce it. Case in point, if you were born on November 29, you would have to add 2 and 9 together to come up with 11. Now, you should bear in mind the number 11 since it is the original double-digit compound number and may prove to be useful in the future in predicting some facets of your life. After coming up with 11, you then add 1 and 1 together. At the end of the day, your birthday number is 11/2.

Current name number

The current name number takes into consideration your first and last name, which you use daily. If you had your name changed, use the one you are currently using in day-to-day basis. According to Western numerologists, your current name number will assist you identify talents, strengths, experiences, and lessons, among others that would affect your life.

To calculate your current name number, you need to start with assigning numbers to the letters of the alphabet. Divide the letters into groups of 9 and assign each letter with a corresponding number. It would be easier for you if you create a chart for this. Your chart should display A with the number 1 while I with the number 9, J with the number 1 while R with the number 9, S with the number 1 and Z with the number 8. This looks very similar to the Kabbalistic numerology table.

Number 1 – A, J, S

Number 2 – B, K, T

Number 3 – C, L, U

Number 4 – D, M, V

Number 5 – E, N, W

Number 6 – F, O, X

Number 7 – G, P, Y

Number 8 – H, Q, Z

Number 9 – I, R

So, if your name were “Anna Smith”, you would have the following numbers: 1+5+5+1 for your first name and 1+4+9+2+8 for your last name.
